About this message
Beneath the joy and lights of the Christmas season, often we can still feel tired, burdened, and searching for something—or Someone—to put our hope in. In the Christmas story, there’s a phrase that echoes more than any other, one that resonates throughout the Bible: Do not be afraid.
It’s a message for all of us who wrestle with the “what if’s” of life—our doubts, our fears, and our unanswered questions. And it’s not a new struggle. Over 2,000 years ago, when Christ was born, people were asking those same “what if’s.”
But Christmas reminds us of a profound truth: Hope has a name. His name is Jesus.
This Christmas Eve, let’s rediscover a hope that can turn our “what if’s” into even if’s. Even if we face hardships, even if the world feels uncertain, even if we don’t have all the answers—we have a reason to hope.
For a world gripped by fear, the good news of Christmas is this: God is with us—and because of Him, we don’t have to be afraid.
