At Vision Night, Scotty challenged us to do one thing this summer, set an alarm on our phones for 4:02 every day and pray for open doors.
Why 4:02? In the Bible, Paul makes a similar ask to a local church in Colossae.
“Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains.” – Colossians 4:2
So, as we look to this next year and where God is leading us as a church, we’re asking that you pray with us in 4 different areas.
1. Pray that God would open doors for starting new churches.
We don’t know the where, how, or when, but know the why. Pray God would lead us as we prepare.
2. Pray for God to use our physical campus in Kirkland to reach more people.
We believe our space communicates what we value, and we want our visitors to know we value them by making necessary improvements.
3. Pray that we would disciple our people well.
That includes relationships and digital tools. Our main job at Northshore is to make disciples.
4. Pray for open doors for our local and global partners.
