The Northshore Board of Overseers is seeking nominations for qualified congregants to serve as overseers.

Role
The leadership of this church is carried out by a Board of Overseers functioning under the headship of Jesus Christ, according to the Scriptures and the leading of the Holy Spirit.
The Overseers, appointed with the consent and support of the church body, are the decision-making body. Their biblical function is to exercise spiritual oversight (Acts 14:23; 20:17, 28, Ephesians 4:11, Philippians 1:1, 1 Timothy 5:17, Titus 1:5, Hebrews 13:17, 1 Peter 5:1-3).
The Overseers are ultimately responsible to God and are to lead as exemplary representatives of the congregation. (Acts 15:6, 20:28, 1 Timothy 5:17-22)
Qualifications
Qualified nominees are individuals who:
- Desire to serve God by leading His people
- Exhibit the character qualities outlined in Scripture—such as being above reproach, faithful, temperate, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, generous, and not quarrelsome
- Conscientiously affirm Northshore's Values & Beliefs and Bylaws
- Have been actively involved in the life of Northshore for at least one year
Responsibilities
Overseers are responsible for:
- Shaping and executing the strategic vision of the church
- Guarding and upholding Northshore's theology and doctrine
- Developing and implementing church policies
- Overseeing the administration of baptism and communion
- Praying for healing and anointing
- Providing financial oversight of the annual budget
- Carrying out other duties as needed
