What Do You Have to Lose?

We all want to “win” in life, but God defines winning differently than the world does. It’s not about how much you make, how successful you are, or how popular you are, it’s about losing your life to God so he can save it. When Jacob finally got to a place where he had financial, job and relational security, it didn’t mean he was winning. He won because God promised to be with him. God doesn’t promise us prosperity, he promises us his presence, so what do we have to lose?
