It's OK to NOT BE OK

About this series

Life is difficult and messy, filled with inward battles and outward hardships. And yet, most often, we find ourselves wanting everyone to think that we’re doing OK when really, we are not OK. During this new series, we’ll take an honest look together at some of the difficult struggles that many of us face such as anxiety, grief, depression, loneliness and how we can find hope in Jesus as He is with us and longs to help us through the messiness of life.

About this message

We don’t get to choose whether we’ll experience loss in life, but we do get to choose whether or not we will grieve. When we lose something or someone, we can hide how we feel or ignore or try to numb how we feel – we can pretend we’re okay. Or we can admit we’re not ok. Why? Because it’s okay to not be okay. The only path toward healing is acknowledging our not-okay-ness. As part of the It’s OK To Not Be OKseries, Pastor Jonathan Wolfgang discusses God’s model for expressing grief and loss, as shown through scripture and the example of Jesus while He walked on Earth.
