The book of Revelation can seem like a strange, overwhelming book of the Bible. But you can simply think of this book as letters from Jesus written to a group of churches full of real people with real problems. As we look at what God has to say to these churches, we want to examine what God is saying to our church and us today.
About this message
“I know where you live.” Jesus wrote these words to the church in Pergamum. The city was a place of worship for many gods, and the church stood in stark contrast, proclaiming Jesus as Lord. But Jesus knew the temptation they faced, not to reject Jesus, but to worship Jesus and... To include idol worship in their practices. In this message, those same temptations are ones we face today, and we find hope in the One who calls us to be the light of the world.
