About This Message

The word "mentor" comes from a 3,000-year-old story about a journey home, and the truth that nobody makes it there alone. In week two of our summer series "Find Your People," Pastor Scotty shares the story of Scott, the friend who saw something in him thirty years ago that he couldn't see in himself. He opens Paul's final letter to Timothy, the last words of a mentor to the man he shaped, and finds six marks of the kind of person we all need in our corner. Whether you're 18 or 81, this one asks two questions worth sitting with: Who's your Paul? And who needs you to be theirs?
