The Other 167 Hours

It’s easy to live life doing whatever it takes to succeed and leave what’s left over to those God calls us to love. We may not sacrifice animals to other gods, but when we frequently miss key moments to love others because we’re too busy, we sacrifice time with our kids, intimacy with our spouses, or connection with our neighbors on the altar of success. You may think the most significant thing you can experience is a job promotion or having authority and influence. In the book of Revelation, Jesus’ letter to Thyatira promises to give us a promotion far exceeding all of that.
