Vision House

Vision House serves families dealing with housing insecurity by providing transitional housing and support that includes life skills training, counseling and employment resources and trained staff to help assist each family to move into permanent housing. Fill out a volunteer interest form HERE.

Examples of volunteer options at Shoreline:

Child care:
Engage children with games, crafts, and free-play while parents are in life-skills, recovery and Bible study classes. Volunteers must be 18 or older.

Help a child at our Homework Lab: Children work on academics alongside volunteers. Volunteers must be 18 or older.

Maintenance: Help clean and prepare an apartment for a new family, assist with grounds maintenance such as mowing, trimming and weeding or help with home repair tasks.

Provide support to our family services staff: Assist our case management team with filing and organizational projects. 

Speak another language? Translators needed in multiple languages. Amharic, Tigrinya, Arabic are huge pluses.
