Union Gospel Mission

Union Gospel Mission loves and cares for our homeless neighbors throughout greater Seattle. They address root causes and break the cycle of homelessness by meeting urgent physical needs, building relationships, and offering long-term recovery programs. Their efforts work to restore dignity and help move people to healthy, thriving lives.

Bring-A-Meal (BAM) program provides meals for men, women, and children — while providing a life-changing volunteer experience for community groups. Get started by organizing groups of up to 8 volunteers to bring a meal. The trained kitchen staff members are available to help you cook your meal, too! Ready to get started? Fill out the BAM Interest Form.

Search + Rescue teams go out daily, to search out and find those who are homeless, hungry, and hurting. We get to know them. We remember their names. We listen to their stories. We meet them where they are with essential supplies to make it through another day and night. And we invite them inside.

Have questions or don’t see what you’re looking for?  Get in touch with the Volunteer Experience Team—volunteer@ugm.org or (206) 723-0767.  More volunteer listings all sites.
