Summer Song Circle

This will be a casual, participatory gathering for people who play guitar or another instrument, sing, write lyrics, enjoy worship music, or simply want to connect with others through music. The vibe would be more “campfire/living room” than “stage/performance.”

The goal is to simply be a summer space where people can gather around familiar songs, simple chords, lyric ideas, encouragement, and informal music-making. Some people may play instruments, some may sing, some may bring song ideas, and some may mostly listen and participate conversationally.

It’s more of a low-pressure “sketchbook” space rather than a polished performance space. We’d likely play a few familiar worship songs, talk briefly about how music helps faith become shared encouragement, and possibly experiment with writing or shaping a simple song together.
