Scotland - Landrum Family

Since arriving in Scotland in 2022, we have been blessed  to have met and worked with so many people who are searching for the hope and love of Jesus. Through street ministry (Dave regularly walks the town and makes close connections with the people both in the shoppes and on the street, and Jenn talks and ministers with people through her crossing guard job and tutoring), through church ministry (youth groups, women’s ministry, men’s ministry, and children’s ministry), through school outreach with Scripture Union where Dave is bringing God’s Word to the kids at the high school during their lunchtime, through Alpha programmes, and through various other outreaches in the town, we have been able to make connections and plant seeds. We are praying that these seeds will grow and people will begin to see the hope and love Jesus brings!

Our children share the gospel with their classmates and regularly invite their friends to church. We are blessed to have been allowed to step into ministries which God has been building for decades, yet the heartbreaking truth still shows only an estimated 2% of Scotland actually has a relationship with Jesus Christ. In a country where faith has become cultural, and statistics simply mask the crisis, we have come to face the overwhelming truth this is a nation in great need of God’s love. We are blessed and honored to share it and will continue to do so for as long as we are able.

Prayer Requests:
Please pray for the continued health of our family, that God would open doors to schools and areas of the community which are resistant to allowing us to go in, for continued support from those who have stepped out in faith to support this ministry, and for more donors to join our team to both replace those we have lost and to help us to reach 100% of funding. It has been humbling to learn to truly rely fully and completely on God for all things our family needs. We are both blessed and honored to get to do so. 

We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything you have done for our family. We cannot express to you what it means to see God’s people look out for our children so that we can go out and help those whom God has sent us to find.
