How to Humbly Serve One Another
For this week’s reflection we focus on verses
that are about how we serve one another in humility
14 If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet. -John 13:14
13 For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. 14 For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” -Galatians 5:13-14
21 submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ. -Ephesians 5:21
3 Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. -Philippians 2:3
24 And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, 25 not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. -Hebrews 10:24-25
9 Show hospitality to one another without grumbling. 10 As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace: -1 Peter 4:9-10
