Gatherings

MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers)

As mothers of preschoolers, we know that caring for young children have both unique joys and challenges.  We believe this season of motherhood is best when shared and supported – that’s why we meet twice a month for two hours to connect, share, laugh, learn from fantastic speakers, and eat a killer brunch. You’ll get a chance to enjoy your coffee while it’s hot, while your kids are cared for, so you can have two whole hours to yourself – imagine!  Join us!

If you are expecting a baby, have toddlers, little kids, or a kindergartener, we hope you’ll come meet new friends in the same season of life as you.

During our MOPS meetings, your children will be cared for in a program called MOPS Kids, including the nurturing quiet of the infant room, all the way to the preschool-like setting of the three-, four-, and five-year-olds.  Space is limited and registration is required.

MOPS at Northshore meets twice a month, on Thursdays from 9:30-11:30 am. Registration for MOPS is available starting August 15. For questions or more information, email Camie Anderson.

Open Table Gathering

Open Table is a place for women to connect in community through a meal together once a month for 3 months. It looks like this: two hours, 6-8 women, four faith questions and one good meal. Would you like to get to know more people and have the opportunity for conversations? Join us around the table!

The first Open Table Gathering meets the last week of September. Registration opens August 15. For questions or more information, email Leigh Anne Lynch.

Women in Action

Northshore’s Women in Action group gather quarterly to encourage each other through fellowship and service to each other and our community. We believe, as the older generation, that there is no such thing as retirement! We want to be women known by our actions in our church, community, and beyond. Join us!

A light brunch is served during each time together. The dates for our 2018-2019 gatherings are as follows: Sept 26, Nov 14, Feb 13, and April 24.  If interested, please RSVP to Mary Bullock.
