Global Missions

“For God so loved the world…” This good news of Jesus reaches beyond borders, cultures and languages unlike anything else; we get to play a key role in sharing that life-changing news with the world.

We too are invited to go beyond what is familiar and comfortable to bring the hope of Jesus to even the most remote corners of the planet.

We partner with locals in each country who are most familiar with their culture and the issues in their communities in order to address their practical needs.

Countries We Support

India, Nicaragua, Philippines

We empower church plants and ministries that pour out the love of God to the poor and outcast in the cities and leprosy colonies by focusing on rescuing children from sex slavery, developing feeding programs, and providing education.

We outreach to the poorest of the poor through schooling, feeding programs, and food distribution. Additionally, our Sponsor-a-Student program provides education in the village of Los Cedros to 200 children each year.

Through our church planting network, we work in the remote areas of the Islands of Negros and Bohol to provide preschool feeding programs, a youth program, and ministry to the island’s large deaf community.

Nepal, Haiti, Spain

We reach communities through post-earthquake relief efforts, sending medical teams, and supporting the regional church planters.

Providing support and food for an orphanage with 70 children, each of whom are victims of the massive 2010 earthquake. Our partner, Pastor Silar, is working to plant a church in his community while ministering to the orphans and others in the community.

Spain has become the second largest country in Europe for human trafficking, mainly girls from Central Africa. We partner with Papilio, a Christian organization, to rescue and bring hope to the girls on the streets.

Austria, Peru, Slovenia

Due to the present situation of tensions and wars, many Afghanis and Iranians are fleeing their countries seeking asylum in Europe. Gordy and Tabita Bec,k our partners in Austria, lead a church in the Farsi language for those seeking Christ in the new found freedom.

In partnership with Helping Hands Ministries, Northshore impacts the city of Trujillo by helping the local churches reach the poor communities through social programs, empowering families to survive, and education and economic development.

Dave and Katka Bordner, our in-country missionary partners, run youth camps and plant churches through Josiah Ventures Ministry to reach the large amount of broken families while providing a Christian education.

Central Asia, & North Africa

Our involvement includes the translation of Scriptures in the Turkman language (completed in 2016), the supporting of ethnic church planters, and ministering through gospel messages and Bible studies via Gospel Wave Media Ministry and more.
North Africa

The human refugee crisis allows us to be involved in humanitarian and medical work in countries otherwise hard to reach with the gospel.

Upcoming Mission Trips

Adventures in Missions (AIM) is a class dedicated to learning about what God is doing in and around and to see how we can take part in His greater story. AIM class meets on Sunday mornings at 9:30am in Room 210. Come and enjoy fellowship, stories from missionaries’ home on furlough, lively discussions, and prayer time.

To learn about what’s coming up each Sunday, visit the Global Mission Facebook Group.

Our trips are designed to support the ethnic pastors and ministries that we currently support around the world. These trips can be “hands on” (from construction to medical care and more), or more focused on training and encouraging those who do the work day in and day out. We pray, train, and send those from our congregation willing to go, giving their time, talents, and treasure to accomplish the great commission to reach the nations for Christ.
