A mid-year financial update from Scotty

We want to share where things stand with our finances — the good and the challenging.

Northshore Mid-Year Update

“If there’s one thing I know from all my years here at Northshore, it’s that God has always been faithful to this church and the people who make it such an incredible community. And I’m confident that will continue.”
— Scotty Scruggs

First: what God is doing

Your generosity is remarkable — and it shows

Last year, through the general fund, the Together For fund, and the Greater Things campaign, you gave $6.5Y million. Because of that generosity, we finished the building renovation on budget, saw 103 baptisms, and helped more than 200 households in crisis. So before anything else — we need to thank God for his faithfulness and for the work he’s doing through this church.

What this means

We're not in crisis — but we want to stay ready

Ministry is still happening

The church is healthy and we're running at the mission God called us to. Nothing essential is threatened.

We're losing the ability to expand

What's at stake is our ability to say yes to new opportunities God puts in front of us — or to meet unexpected needs when they come.

Northshore has a vital role to play

In our community, with our local neighbors, in our school district, and with our mission partners around the world. We want to stay ready for all of it.

What we believe

We’re sharing this because you deserve to know where things stand — and because Northshore has such a vital role to play in this community. God has always been faithful to this church, and that will continue. Thanks for being part of it.

Already giving? Consider increasing

If you set up your giving a while ago, this is a good moment to revisit the percentage. Even a 1–2% increase makes a real difference across our whole church.
