Poverty 101

Poverty 101 is a fast-paced, interactive six-hour training from Everett Gospel Mission that invites each participant to reflect on their own experiences, assumptions, and beliefs. You’ll walk away with practical tools for engaging others with greater humility, understanding, and care.

Poverty is deeply connected to broken relationships. Lasting change requires more than services alone — it requires relationship. Poverty 101 helps you grow in that kind of relational poverty alleviation.

You will laugh, be moved, inspired, and perhaps even confronted. We can promise you cannot take Poverty 101 and not be changed in some way.
