Making Peace with your Past (Co-ed, Women)

Have you thought about how your past influences how you do life today? We see patterns of dysfunction in our lives but don’t quite know how to break out of them. Even after you have tried to change your behavior, do you see yourself still making the same destructive decisions over and over again? If this seems familiar, join us in “Making Peace With Your Past.”

BOUNDARIES (COED)

Are you a controller or do you feel controlled? How do you answer someone who wants your time, love, energy and money? Do you have trouble saying no? Healthy relationships depend on healthy boundaries. But many people don’t know where to start. Boundaries is a group which follows the DVD series by Dr.’s Cloud and Townsend. This material helps us define our personal boundaries or markers such as our feelings, thoughts, desires, body and actions. Together we will explore how to find freedom relationally.

Discovering God’s Grace in Our Stories (Women)

In this group we will be finding God’s grace in our life story through art, prayer, and journaling. We will be using Storyropes©, cross-pages, and other collage projects during these 13 weeks. You don’t need to be an artist to be healed through art. Please join us for a great fall adventure with God.

Monday nights, beginning September 18th

Freedom Session

Freedom Session is a 20-week group which uncovers the roots of pain in our lives and invites Christ to heal those areas. It deals with real issues such as hard marriages, sexual woundedness, anger, abuse, fears, etc. Beneath these symptoms is often a wounded, empty heart. We find other ways to cope with our pain. But God has so much more for us, and our relationships. There is a God-inspired ending to our story which brings freedom. Consider joining us, it is well worth the investment.

Monday nights, beginning September 18th

Griefshare (Coed)

GriefShare is for those who have lost someone close to them through death. GriefShare shows you how to access the hope, help, and healing that God offers through a 13-week program. Each session features helpful, comforting videos and encouraging group discussion.

DivorceCare (Coed)

Separation and divorce can be one of the most painful and stressful experiences people face. It is a confusing time when isolation sets in and there are questions about issues never faced before. The DivorceCare groups meet weekly to help men and women face these challenges and move toward rebuilding their lives.

Monday nights, beginning September 18th

Confident Kids (Kids Ages 6–11)

Confident Kids is a life-skills program offering help and encouragement to children ages 6-11. Any child within that age range can attend, and it is particularly helpful for kids facing issues such as a recent move, change of school, parent’s divorcing, a close family member with a serious or lengthy illness, or death of a loved one. The curriculum covers such topics as: All my feelings are okay; there are no perfect families; nothing stays the same forever; and I always, always have choices. Join us for a time of play, crafts, skits, and lessons about God’s love that equips children for life’s challenges.
