Job Description
This role leads the systems of care for new guests through the oversight and development of experiences like Discover Northshore and Starting Point. They will also share leadership for the Connections team, in partnership with the Kirkland Campus Team, and work to coordinate logistics for our Sunday Guest Services.
WHAT YOU GET TO DO
New Guest Experience (50%)
- Timely communication with new guests, including welcoming and facilitating invites to Discover and Starting Point
- Continue developing curriculum based on outcome metrics and feedback to best facilitate engagement for participants in Discover and Starting Point
- Communication and promotion follow up for new guest experiences
- Recruit and lead the New Guest Experience Team: tech lead, discussion group leaders, media team, and prep/food servers
- Ensure the needed materials for New Guest Experiences are prepped in a timely way
- Capture stories and quotes that emerge during the Starting Point program for promotions and stories of life change for weekend
- Work with staff team on calendaring dates for the year
- Help create and work within budget
Connections Coordinator (50%)
- Work alongside the Pastor of Connections to envision and execute on plans for Sunday lobby experiences, special events, and holidays celebrations (Easter, Christmas Eve)
- Lead a capable team of volunteers to perform Sunday duties, including: Brew Crew, Parking team, Greeter, Ushers, and all other lobby-present volunteers
- Fulfill weekend ordering and logistical duties for upcoming weekend needs, including new guest gift bags
General Staff Responsibilities
- Lead and serve in a spirit of cooperation and collaboration with the entire leadership of Northshore (overseers, staff, core lay leaders, etc.)
- Participate in the Monday Team Rally, All Staff meetings, and Northshore All-hands events (Christmas Eve and Easter)

- Organized and able to manage details independently
- Demonstrated level of maturity and good ministry judgment
- A “one team” mindset that enjoys collaborating across departments at all levels within the organization
- Embraces lifelong learning and is quick to learn new skills
- Strong ability to anticipate barriers and plan accordingly while maintaining the flexibility to problem solve as needed
- Be a regular attender at Northshore and pursue membership (if not already)

- Pay Rate: $26 - 28/hour depending on experience
