Job Summary
The Campus Pastor position presents an exciting opportunity to take on a catalytic leadership role at Northshore, a healthy growing church in the Puget Sound. Put your pastoral experience and knowledge to use while implementing strategies of a multisite/campus model. This leader will ensure that Northshore’s mission is consistently modeled with excellence as they launch this new campus model with the support of the original campus. The Campus Pastor will oversee the staff, volunteers, and ministry efforts necessary to reach people with the message of Jesus and foster ongoing spiritual growth throughout the campus-specific congregation.
Core Job Responsibilities
Strategy and Leadership
- Champion Northshore’s vision and values at the campus location
- Collaborate with appropriate teams to ensure weekend experience and programs are executed consistently
- Build, lead, coach, and supervise the campus staff team in their areas of ministry
- Manage campus budget and provide oversight and direction for effective ministry
- Maintain ministry effectiveness on campus using provided data scorecard
General Pastoral
- Lead and serve in a spirit of cooperation and collaboration with staff and volunteer teams of Northshore
- Provide pastoral care (prayer, counseling, encouragement, etc.) to campus-specific congregation
- Participate as a leader and pastor in churchwide Northshore events as directed
- Execute other pastoral duties as assigned (preach, pastoral care, etc.)
Job Skills & Qualifications
What you Bring
- Five years (plus) of ministry leadership, by demonstrating proficiency in team building; previous campus pastor with online ministry experience is preferred
- Proficient in public speaking with the ability to inspire others through a shared vision, proficient in written and organizational communication
- Strong interpersonal skills with special emphasis on giving and receiving feedback
- Evidence of a growing relationship with Jesus
- Is engaged at Northshore as a church home or will actively pursue membership
